About

I am a New York based journalist covering commercial real estate capital markets and the flow of credit across financial markets. I currently work as a staff writer at Trepp, where I report on capital flows, financing structures, and market risk, with a particular focus on how debt is originated, priced, and distributed within commercial real estate.

My reporting combines source driven journalism with data analysis to explain complex capital markets activity and uncover emerging risks. In addition to debt and financing, I also cover legislation and regulatory developments that affect commercial real estate, as well as leasing activity and demand trends across major property types. I have experience producing both breaking news and long form enterprise stories, often centered on structured finance, private lending, and the intersection of real estate, credit, and macroeconomic trends. My goal is to translate jargon heavy markets into clear, accessible reporting for professional audiences.

I regularly attend industry conferences and maintain a network of executives, investors, lenders, and analysts, which informs my coverage and supports timely, well sourced reporting. Previously, I worked as a junior editor at GETTR and as a business and economic reporter at Capital News Service, where I covered policy, markets, and corporate developments under daily deadlines. An enterprise story I authored on Novavax’s COVID 19 trials was picked up by national outlets.

I hold a BA in multi platform journalism from the University of Maryland, with a minor in history. I am particularly interested in beats that sit at the center of private credit, structured finance, and broader financial markets, where strong sourcing and careful reporting can bring transparency to opaque systems.
